About The Course
Tiny Alphabet is a pre-phonics course that introduces children to the 26 letters of the alphabet—their names, sounds, and shapes. The goal is to help students become familiar with each letter and begin connecting letters to sounds in a natural and engaging way.
Children will:
Learn letter names and sounds through chants, songs, and repetition. For example:
A is for apple
B is for ball
Practice letter recognition by identifying letters in books, games, and flashcards.
Develop fine motor skills by tracing letters, coloring, and practicing basic strokes. Activities may include:
Tracing big letters with their fingers
Drawing lines, curves, and shapes that prepare them for writing
Build listening and speaking skills through guided teacher interaction, story time, and class routines (e.g., singing the ABC song, identifying letter sounds in words).
This course gently prepares students for the next stage of phonics by creating a strong connection between what they hear, what they see, and what they do with their hands. It helps develop focus, hand-eye coordination, and early literacy skills in a playful and nurturing environment.
