Miss Joanne Ting, CA - Program Director
A great teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart.
I am kind and compassionate: Teaching is a very humanistic profession, and compassion is the utmost feeling of understanding. By showing kindness to my students, they feel welcomed, cared for, and loved and as a result, they will be more open to exploring the world around them.
I am confident: I am confident in my abilities to sense where students are in the learning process and to come up with appropriate teaching methods to help them achieve the best they could.
I am positive: Staying positive under stressful circumstances can have a tremendous positive impact on students and everyone around us. I believe that looking on the bright side always helps to make things better.
I respect: I believe that each student's ideas and opinions should be valued. By creating a welcoming learning environment for students, they would feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect and listen to others too.
I inspire: The heart of learning and the most powerful force in education is the connection between teachers and students. I strive to form a strong bonding with my students, to trigger their interest in learning, and to guide it in the right way. -
Mr. Jason, UK - Supervising Teacher
I have a fun, vibrant personality that allows students to warm up quickly. I'm very consistent in my lessons so students are clear about the boundaries and can have fun whilst knowing they need to work. I have lots of experience and can use this knowledge to create bespoke lesson objectives for each individual student allowing them to learn at their best pace. I love what I do so nothing is too much for my students be it an educational or personal matter. -
Mr. John, CA - Senior Native English Teacher
My belief is that an upstanding teacher is someone who can touch the hearts of their students and provide a fun and vibrant learning experience. They should also be open to adapting to any and all situations at a moments notice. I have been a teacher across the world; from Canada to the Middle East and to Japan. Along the way, I have equipped myself with priceless knowledge that I put to use everyday for my students. My hope is that they will one day grow to be amazing people and share what they have learned to others. I take great pride in my personality, I will always go to great lengths to ensure that the students within my care are being given a proper education and have fun doing it. -
Mr. David, UK – Senior Native English Teacher
Hello everyone, Mr David is the name, teaching is my game.
I teach with a large focus upon the dual - coding theory, using both sound and imagery, song and action, speaking and doing, to help imprint the topic upon the mind. This technique helps store the information in multiple parts of the brain, enabling different ways for the students to access depending upon their preferred learning style.
To compliment this, I push my students to think for themselves. I say the wrong thing to have them challenge me, to help the understand both sides of a conversation and to empower them with confidence in their own knowledge and ability.
My students mean the world to me, I'll forever be expanding upon my knowledge and learning, to help them. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the years to come. -
Miss Chloe, UK – Senior Native English Teacher
Growing up, I have always had a passion for teaching, I believe that each student is a unique lantern awaiting a spark to ignite their natural passion for learning. I have a qualification in Early Childcare; experience teaching young children from kindergarten age and also working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children. I hope with my creativity, motivation and enthusiasm to teach, I can create an enjoyable learning experience for the students at Tiny Talents. -
Mr. Toby, CA- Senior Native English Teacher
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, as you can see the growth of a student with every passing lesson. I believe the most important aspect of being a teacher is building rapport with the students and providing a fun environment with clear boundaries for their academic growth. Through this, I hope the students at Tiny Talents learn to not only succeed in the classroom but in all aspects of their lives. -
Miss Julie, UK – Senior Native English Teacher
I have a strong passion for teaching and want to be a great role model for all of my students. I believe parents, teachers, and students must work as a team to achieve the highest potential. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where each student can have the opportunity to experience success and progress. It is my goal to help encourage my students to look beyond the four walls of our classroom and view the world around them as a place of learning and discovery. By doing this, I hope to instill in them a desire to become lifelong learners. -
Miss Lina, UK – Native English Teacher
I am Ms. Lina and I am very passionate about teaching; I truly enjoy working with children and have been working in the education industry for a number of years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree majoring English and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Education. I hope with my knowledge and experience, I will bring out the best in my students, nurturing their unique strengths and build their passion for learning as I always believe that each and every child is special, and they are in this world to make a mark. -
Mr. Matthew, USA – Native English Teacher
I love to help people learn; I find it rewarding. Learning is something people do their whole lives, so there is no point in making it monotonous. I do my best to make sure the children are engaged in learning by keeping them excited about each topic. Like John Clark said “A good teacher, like a good entertainer first must hold his audience's attention, then he can teach his lesson”. -
Miss Phoebe, USA – Native English Teacher
Ever since I took up my Education Degree, my love for teaching has grown deeper. I believe that every learner is special in his/her own ability, strategy and pacing when it comes to absorbing knowledge. As an English major, I have studied how deep and complicated it is to study the English Language-- some may find it easy, some may find it difficult, and so I always make sure to use different techniques suited for my students. With my TEYL training that has equipped me further to teach young learners, I hope that with patience, essential teaching skills, and making a fun-and-safe environment for my pupils; my students will look forward to learning something new in my class every day. -
Mr. Tom, UK – Native English Teacher
My teaching journey with Tiny Talents began last year and since then I have been enjoying fun and creative lessons with children at different ages. I am a kind and understanding person, which helps me make my students feel welcome and cared for during our time together. This includes having some laughter during each lesson, making kids smile and focusing on their individual needs are some of my main targets along with providing my students with structured and effective classes. -
Miss Lillie, UK – Native English Teacher
Students are not the only ones learning in the classroom. The teacher is always improving their teaching methods and techniques as they work. There must always be room for improvement. It is important to understand that all children learn at their own pace and manner, therefore I always adapt my teaching style to each individual student in a way that best suits them. As a graduate of Modern Languages, I understand best how difficult it is to learn a new language so I always strive to make their progress as smooth as possible and keep my own experiences in mind when teaching. It brings me great joy to be able to pass my passion for languages to the next generation and see them make more and more progress each day. -
Mr. Gil, USA – Native English Teacher
I grew up in a home where the learning environment promotes fun, growth, and love to each member of the household. Looking back, teaching children has always been an essential element in life for me, it allows me to share my knowledge with the young minds of today. I believe in the philosophy that every child is unique, therefore they learn and succeed at their own pace. With my years of experience and continuous growth in the field of education, I hope that my passion for teaching as well as my training as an educator will help free the minds and doors of opportunity for students. It is my mission to help students to be positively inspired with my approach, just as I was influenced by my mentors. -
Mr. Davo, AUS – Native English Teacher
I have taught in Australia and China for roughly six years now. I believe I have a flexible teaching style and I love to use various mediums to present learning and also to facilitate the outcomes such as through songs, skits, visual aids, theatrics and body movements. I believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in class. Did you know that I can sing and play the guitar as well? Check out the “Tiny Talents” song on our Facebook page. -
Mr. Eugene, AUS - Native English Teacher
It fills me with great pride to be able to make an impact on a child’s development during their most important years. I always aim to create a learning environment that is entertaining and engaging, yet flexible to account for each child’s individual needs. Knowing that I can help a child grow and reach their full potential is a rewarding feeling and one that brings me joy every day.
