The Four Seasons

Every year, the Earth travels in a circle around the Sun, causing the cycle of the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring, nature awakens. Tiny green shoots appear, and flowers begin to blossom. Birds return from faraway lands, their songs bringing life back to the forests and gardens. As the weather warms, children play outside and watch the world transform from grey to vibrant colours.

When summer arrives, long, sunny days encourage picnics at the park and trips to the beach. Ice cream melts quickly in the heat, and families enjoy swimming and barbecues. The days are filled with laughter and the smell of fresh grass.

In autumn, leaves change to shades of red, orange and gold. Farmers harvest crops, gathering pumpkins and apples. The air grows cooler, and some animals prepare to hibernate, building warm nests to sleep through the chilly months.

Finally, winter brings cold weather and sometimes frost on windows. Evergreen trees stay green, dusted with snow. People wear cosy coats and drink hot chocolate by the fire.
